Forte's Hip Hop curriculum is led by experienced instructors passionate about teaching the fundamentals of street dance in a fun and engaging environment. Students will learn foundational Hip Hop moves, choreography, and freestyle techniques that encourage creativity and individuality. Classes incorporate warm-ups, across-the-floor exercises, and full routines designed to build strength, musicality, and performance skills. Hip Hop Class Options
Discover Hip Hop (Ages 4 to 5 years)
Get ready to move and groove in this high-energy class designed just for little ones! Dancers will learn fun, age-appropriate hip-hop moves and routines in a playful environment. This class helps build coordination, rhythm, and confidence, all while letting your child’s personality shine. Perfect for tiny movers who love music and having fun! This class will participate in Forte's annual Holiday Show and year-end Showcase, which gives friends and family a chance to see what their dancer has learned!
Hip Hop (Ages 6 to 10 years)
There's lots of energy and creativity in this upbeat hip-hop class for kids who love to move! Dancers in this class learn cool moves, dynamic choreography, and the basics of freestyle in a fun and encouraging environment. This class also helps develop rhythm, coordination, and confidence while letting dancers express themselves. This class will participate in Forte's annual Holiday Show and year-end Showcase, which gives friends and family a chance to see what their dancer has learned!
High School Dance (Ages 13 to 18 years)
This class is for students in 6th through 12th grade who are focused on building their dance skills across multiple styles. Previous dance experience (any style) is recommended. Combining jazz, hip hop, and sideline techniques, this class focuses on sharp movements, clean lines, and dynamic choreography to prepare dancers for performances, games, and beyond. Whether you're polishing skills for your team or exploring new styles, you'll build strength, precision, and confidence in an upbeat and supportive environment. This class will participate in Forte's annual Holiday Show and year-end Showcase, which gives friends and family a chance to see what their dancer has learned!
